So we're going to do something a little different around here. A nice change of pace is always a good thing here at XF, and while Halo is still our meat and potatoes, there's nothing better than sitting back and watching a movie with some of your best friends.
We're utilizing the Netflix feature exclusive to Xbox 360, and that is watching a movie with friends online. This is our first event with Netflix, so future Netflix events will depend on the reception it gets and how smooth things run during the event.
How do I sign up?
No need to sign up. Just like with most event parties, it's a first come, first serve basis. However, these type of parties have very limited space (can't do 16 players like in Halo). Be sure to message the party host to see if you can get a reserve seat or maybe be the first to be invited. Again, your spot is not guaranteed.
Rules:
Treat this party as if you were going to the movies. Be courteous and respectful towards others, especially if the person hasn't seen the movie yet (a.k.a no spoilers).
No excessive noises such as screaming, being obnoxious, etc. Obviously funny parts will have people laughing but try and keep the noises to a minimum.
Inform the host if you need a break (such as going to the bathroom). Again try to keep these to a minimum. Some hosts may have "intermission" periods in between the movie.
We will not rewind the movie if you "miss a part".
Please note that hosts may also have other rules in their party. Again, be respectful and ask the host if you have any questions.
Who's hosting?
Below is a list of users who are willing to host a Netflix party. If you want to host a party yourself, be sure to post in this thread along with the movie/TV shows you plan to air.
