Another month, another screenshot contest. Too bad map packs only come out once in a great while instead of the monthly treatment this contest has been given. We here at XForgery cherish the moments when fresh content comes out, and just like with the Noble map pack, the Defiant map pack will also be given it's own screenshot theme. Even if you didn't buy the new maps, you can still participate by being "Defiant" to the end.
So how can I be "Defiant" without the new maps?
To enter this month's screenshot contest, you have two options. The first option is pretty obvious: Post a screenshot of fresh defiant goodness. This can be an action shot, scenery, or something more special. However, it needs to be on one of the three new maps.
The second option could actually be it's own theme if it wanted to, but the similarity towards the defiant theme is too great to ignore.
In the event that you don't have the maps, post a screenshot of some sweet Spartan vs Elite action. This screenshot can be on any of the Halo: Reach maps, but it has to involve a Spartan and an Elite attacking or killing each other. There's no "friendships" here. So a screenshot with a Spartan and Elite picking flowers will not count.
On that note, the killing doesn't have to be serious either. You can be a little creative on how these digital beings die. ;)
When does the contest start and end?
Submissions start right........now, and end on Wednesday, March 30th @ 11:59 PM CST. The voting thread will be up a few days after the 30th. This should give you enough time to "defy the covenant" and frown at my overused cliche (I blame Microsoft).
Submission Rules
The screenshot must be taken by you. Depending on the theme, you are allowed to have people help and/or be in the shot, as long as the screenshot is taken by you. (Please read on for methods of showing proof)
Post your screenshot in this thread. You are allowed to change your submission anytime during the submission period.
You can only have one submission, and it must be taken during this contest. (3/18 - 3/30)
Along with your submission, please include:
The title of the screenshot.
a link to your Halo: Reach file share, recent screenshots, or screenshot gallery page on Bungie.net (http://www.bungie.net/default.aspx).
The screenshot does not need to be posted in the Reach Gallery forum, but you must embed it into this thread when submitting it. To find out how to correctly obtain and embed screenshots, please refer to this thread (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=561).
Your screenshot must be on one of the new Defiant maps, or Spartan vs Elite action on any Reach map!
Offensive, inappropriate, or tampered submissions (Ex: Using photoshop) will be deleted.

Did you think I forgot about February's results?! Of course not! By the time I started working on this thread, I've already handed out the awards earlier in the day.
Since last month's contest involved partners, and there was a three way tie for 2nd, I eliminated 3rd place. Despite this, we have our winner and five runner-ups tied to four screenshots. Let's just say this screenshot contest now holds the record for prizes given out in any screenshot contest.
