Well I have heard of add-ons for forums like vbulletin and such that allow rep points to be able to be spent like money for items. If we could have this, we could have a little store where you could spend points to buy armor/weapons for your spartan. These items would give you nothing, and you would get nothing. Though you could have a separate dot where it shows your stats...

This just sounded like a good idea to me, though it would probably be hard to implement, and would be very pointless.

I am taking medicine, so my brain isn't where it normally is. I might be crazy, but this sounds like a fun addition to the site.

Interesting idea, but like you said, pointless and difficult.

If this ever made it onto our ToDo list, it would be very near the bottom.

But, feel free to discuss and develop the idea further.

MAYBE each weapon could give different stats, like luck, strength, speed, and there could be little battles or something. I dunno.

But I am now deciding to run a forum game.

Sounds like a TBMMORPG... which is pretty difficult to develop, especially when you have to tie in into an already HUGE database. The idea is pretty cool, but it'd be a while before we even began to develop anything of the sort...

Oh yeah, and I'm going to be taking courses on PHP and MySQL online, so the site will be having lots of funnnn.:thumbup:
