Surge - Posted in response thread
Bloc - Ezekiel was there, and was given feedback.

Treehouse v1 - There were several areas where you can jump to, which lead outside the map's playing area, where you will fall to your death. The map also felt very busy, with too much clutter, and takes some getting used to the layout. The players say they liked the use of lifts, I never ran into one. Looks like most of the action went up to the higher elevation in the mid by rockets when possible.

Devil's Fort - Posted in reply thread.

Just to clarify I was there but I didn't really get any feedback, which is cool, but I don't have a mic

If anyone has any thoughts I would like to hear them

Thanks to those who helped!

We said stuff. I guess you couldn't hear through your TV speakers. My brain has moved on to other things and I don't remember much, but I think the jist of the opinions was that the map had a lot of unused space... Mainly, those buildings on the side. If you watch the footage, 90% of the action takes place on or around the central bridge. Of course, that was during CTF. In a game of Slayer, that could be wholly different. Also, there was an issue iwth grenade launcher spawn; It was really difficult to get down from there.

Hey Exekeil2Ofive17,
Over-all, I really liked your map. That's why I'm gonna spend some time to point-out a few things that might help you out.

In the following video, it illustrates the EXTREME frame-rate issues (lag, what-ever you wanna call it) that this map has. You've put so much effort into making the map look good, that you've caused an issue with this.

Secondly, most of the map isn't utilized properly or at all. The centre bridge was the only REAL action point on the map. Not much of a problem, but it takes away from the map as a whole, because you have all these HUGE buildings, that rarely got used, and maybe some of those pieces could've been used elsewhere, to create a less non-linear gameplay. I have NO suggestions for what you can do to fix this, lol, I'm just relaying what I heard over the mic during the gameplay and afterwards.

*RED circled buildings are rarely used.

Thirdly, some of your ramps are insane angles. They're so steep, I didn't even think you can actually walk up them. Angles this steep prevent any decent 'action' on them, as the players on on such an awkward slope.

Over-all, I love playing on urban-type maps. The grav-lift jumping from roof-top to roof-top worked very well.
Anyways, can't wait to see what improvements you'll make to the map and hope to see it on TNT again!!
