Welcome to the official XF CUP SERIES!
This tournament will be a grueling competition between fellow XF members who wish to prove that they are the king of the track. The XF CUP SERIES will be held on multiple courses made and posted in our RACE forum. The XF competitors will be allowed to choose what tracks they would like to race on in the competition. Prizes include a nifty medal under your name for all participants and XF points, maybe even a custom pet .....we'll have to see about that one ;).
Rules:
Rules are simple, no driving in the opposite direction to knock others off, no sitting still blocking the path of other racers, no sore losers.
Structure Concept:
The number of contestants will dictate the structure of this ladder. Typically players will be divided into Moto's (groups) of 4 or more people and will be instructed on when to gather to compete. Of each group, 1 person will be knocked out and the group will have to report back to XF where everyone placed. The Ladder will be restructured and divided into another wave of Moto's until only 1 remains...
Map/Game/Vehicle Concept:
Well, its been a long time coming and Im sure all of you have been patiently waiting.
We have ourselves a dilemma:
We can either tell you guys what Maps you are going to play and with what Vehicles.
Or we can put it up for debate and waste another couple weeks waiting for poll results...
I have another solution: Leave it up to you!
Each group can race on whatever map they choose, using whatever vehicles they want so long as EVERYONE agrees.
The only stipulation is that it MUST be an XF Race Map.
If an agreement cannot be made, by default everyone must race on the map 'HEX (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12165)' @ 10 laps using Mongeese.
Its that simple, agree, or disagree- but its in your hands!
Gambling Concept:
If you arent so smooth on the track but still want to participate, consider betting on the victor!
Thats right- Wager as many XF points as you want on any of the contestants... If you pick the winner, you get paid!
Odds on the correct pick:
Initially, bets placed before the first Moto may receive up 5:1 odds
bets placed on the second Moto may receive 4:1 odds
bets placed on the third Moto may receive 3:1 odds
bets placed on the fourth Moto may receive 2:1 odds
All bets will be closed until the Winner emerges!
Sign ups list: ( Be sure to post your GT if you wish to join)Dates and times of each race group will be organized after we get all the sign ups.
