Final Vote

Well I have some good news and bad news. The bad news is we didn't get as many submissions as originally thought (it was a mongoose theme for crying out loud!). The good news is since there was only four submissions, that's less competition for the participants. This means 75% of the field will walk away with something! So wish these four users the best of luck.



When voting, please include the name of the photographer, and at least one reason why you like his/her picture. Please vote for the two screenshots you think are the best, and not because they're your friend, idol, lover, classmate, co-forger, machinima partner, etc. Please keep the non-voting chatter to a minimum as well.

Darkness by DarthMike43 - The name of the screenshot may not be very creative but the glow of the headlights and the blue visor really really pop in all of the "darkness". Also although Emile's helmet is often overused when attempting to get 'cool' screenshots, I think it really works well for the feel of this image. My complaint however is that the left headlight looks very unnatural with the light coming out of... well... the wrong spot. But with only 3 other options to pick, you can still haz my vote. ;P

Dusk by Ac3Snip3r - Maybe I'm just a fan of darker screenshots in comparison to brighter ones, but this is my favorite amongst the other two. It does seem a little 'too dark' around the mongoose, which I suppose gives a silhouette kind of effect. But I would definitely like to see some headlights in there to generate some luminance around the Mongoose. Ah well, good shot regardless.

I'll vote for Brushfire by Alzahran. Its a neat picture to look at. Simple, but stil interesting.

I vote for Brushfire by Alzarahn. Its use of color is amazing. Simple and beautiful.

My second choice would have to be Dusk by Ac3Snip3r. Although it is a little dark and straining on the eyes, expresses a somber tone rather well.

Brushfire by Alzarahn. Dusk comes in a close second, it's a very relaxing picture.

I thought an action shot might be appreciated since it is not set up, but I see that is not the case. For the next contest i'll try to go for the more "epic" look with effects and scenery.

Brushfire is my first vote; second is Dusk. My only problem was Dusk was that it was a tiny bit too dark, but that may be my monitor.

Dusk by Ac3Snip3r is my favorite. It's set up very well as a picture. Brushfire by Alzarahn gets my second vote because I like the color scheme.
