Alright people… we here at XForgery have some good news for all of you. First of all I come here answering all questions that you still have about sandbox. I also have the sizes for the scenery objects in grid units (basically the grid units (Gus) on Sandbox) as well as a description for each. And if you scroll down even farther you can see how big of an area you are actually going to get to work with so you can plan your maps accordingly. Also, between the collaboration of myself and Zachary9990 (or Zak here on XF) we have completed the Sketchup Components for Sandbox.
Sandbox Sketchup Components
Alright for those that don’t know what Sketchup is, let me explain. Google Sketchup is a 3D modeling program that can be used to create models and package the models together as “components”. These components can then be used to create an environment. You can make anything from trees to people to buildings. Sketchup also has the ability to snap corners/midpoints of edges of the object to other corners/midpoints. It also comes with a lot of general manipulation of objects as well; like rotating, scaling, etc. This software makes scene development quick and easy.
For those that don’t know, courtesy of Fritzer and DeathstarOG, we currently have components for Foundry (http://www.forgeguru.com/sketchupdesigning.htm). These components have been key to planning out maps quickly before one started building on the XBox. Well today Zak brings to you the Sketchup Sandbox Components:

Yes, my fellow forgites, Zachary9990 (from here on called Master Ruler Emperor of All) bestows the first ever Sandbox sketch-up to his people.
This is the first of many versions to come. Because of my lack of the Mythic (due to the fact that I did this project before their release) I was forced to rely on friends who had gotten codes early to take pictures for me so that I could scale everything perfectly. After watching a lot of Insane54's Live feed and having AZN FTW take some pictures for me, I have finished a full scale Sandbox Template with every Forge Item in Sandbox including immovables. That is, every scenery item (excluding the golf stuff and effects) and a few objective items such as flags and bombs and respawn points.

In later Versions I plan on making weapon markers and adding skins to everything to make it look more like the game. Rest assured everything is to scale in this sketchup and if you find anything wrong, please notify me.
NOTES on Using Sketchup:
To open the components go to "Window>Components" and then click the drop down menu and select "In Model".
To remove the Glass roofs to each level select the template component on screen, right click, edit component, select the circle you wish to delete, press delete, and the right click again and click "Close component".
