Hey guys, not too many post here so i'll through this game type in...

Strand# G362 (http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3fileid=62316235)

The Legacy

In the year 2010 Harvard scientist Walter P. Dishimeir created a breed of tree that grew at a very fast rate, to scrub out the pollution that man has done to Earth. The tree did what is was meant to do. Only a year later a large nuclear bomb went off at the summit of Mount Everest. The trees quickly took in most of the radioactive particles. When this happen the trees grew much quicker than ever anticipated, some off the trees died off but many more over took the planet. Many structures were over come by these trees as they continued to grow. Soon the trees began to make a deadly byproduct, Strand# G362. When this byproduct was absorbed into the skin the infected would have traits similar to those of zombies.
You must deafened yourself and the other survivors.

The Game Type

Strand# G362 starts with 25% of players as the infected. The infected have no shields, spawn with a sword, and have no motion tracker. The survivors start each round with magnums, normal shields, no grenades, and a ten meter motion tracker. Last man standing is forced red, is a bit faster than before, and can survive an infected's first sword lunge. One point for ever kill. Three extra points for last man standing. I suggest that maps played with this game type have low ammunition and no respawn on all weapons, that way the each round isn't long and dragged out. I do have a map already made for this exact game type and I hope to post it at XForgery soon.
If there are any problems in this post please tell me!

Yeah, i thought so too.It took me about five minutes to come up with it. I have a pretty good map for it and once i get my 360 back i'll make some minor changes to it and post it here at XF.

What's the zombie's health? If it's low then you're going to want to play this on a small map, higher health means bigger map.

Sounds cool.

I am pretty sure that Infection will become a standard gametype.

Speaking of we need to come up with a straight up infection standard gametype... I'm going to go look at my Breakout variant and start a thread on certifing an infection standard...

But interesting back story... that inspires me to write a back story for every Standard Gametype featured from now on... thank you...

Infected have no sheilds; the game type is for small maps. Actually the map i have for it is the smallest, Guardian.

Yeah AZN, i think that all game types should have a back story.

Mista, there are no rules to stay on topic here... it's a relaxed forum... lighten up... this ain't FH. As long as you guys are collaborating and slowly get back on topic no one will get on your case... but obviously, obvious spam will get talked to.. and that's all done behind scenes...
