Good day, good sirs.

This map is created for a certain map which I will post soon.

Although, I have decided to post this gametype so others are free to use. I trust that you are all creative, and you can create maps that will work well with this.

The general idea of this map is to enter the enemy base. It works on the gametype of Territories. There is a single territory that is placed in a doorway or something similar. The attackers must enter that doorway to win the round. Generally, attackers should travel a far way to get there. The Defenders attempt to stop them. There should be one path (much like conquest) to enter the base. Don't confuse this with making it small. The base is where the Defenders respawn, and the Attackers should respawn at or near their start.

The map should be built like a normal map except there is one path. This means that you can have very open areas and different elevations. The orginal map is created on Last Resort. It is slightly changed, and there is one path.

Info:

Cap. Time: Instant
Starting Weapon: Magnum
Speed: 125%
Damage Resistance: 90%
No Radar

4 rounds of 5 minutes.

There are a few other tweaks that you will notice including respawn traits (invis + ivincible.)

As you can see, it is a mini-game that promotes tactical gameplay.

That is exactly what it is. The twist is that the map should be like a normal map except containing one path. Not necessarily meaning you can only go one way...

So a brute force push conquest where if their team actually reaches the last territory they win.. I see... I'll try to build a map for this and see if I can make something cool... Orbital would be a great map for this... but maybe the gametype needs a new name...

I think the gametype should be set to where you have multiple territories and they work like checkpoints... that way you have a short term goal to achieve... and set the score to like 5 so thta you have 5 territories along one path... and it's one0-sided... maybe you could do something with the attacker/defender traits too... like a defender of a territory has quite a bit more damage... so that they can stop people quicker from getting to the territory...

U-shaped zig zag... anything with one path... Scope I want to test this this weekend...

EDIT: Come to think of it, I want to make this on Orbital... I think it would be awesome.. I just have to learn the map now...

Maybe a HUGE straight line but with stuff to block huge lines of fire except down the center

That's the point of orbital... alot of long hallways give a mix of CQC and Long range... it's actually really cool...

All Your Base Are Belong To ME!!! I like the idea of this how one team basically pushes the other team back because it is mostly about brute force and stuff like AZN said but a good tactic still sounds like it will really help

Sounds good it should be easy to make a version on Orbital before you guys get the maps... do you mind if I edit the gametype a little? And see what you guys think of it... maybe eventually it could stand out as a standard gametype... any name suggestions for it?

AZN, for the map orbital is it a giant U shape if u block off like 2 spots? From the videos i've seen it looks like it

You can edit it. Then I 'll take a look.

Standard gametype? That would be cool.

Name? Well, you named yours conquest, so I thought of something like "Crusades". After all, the Crusades were trying to get to a location.
