What's up peeps? I don't know if any of you know me or not, but I'm an ex-guilder of FH, an old member of Forgery on BNET (You can find my tips and tricks thread still stickied), and am a pretty well known map builder as well. I've created the gametypes like In the Shadows, Conquest, Tactical SWAT (Training Ground won best slayer map at FH a long time ago), Squads, etc... I decided to come back to forging about a month ago... I checked back on Forgery and saw that you guys moved, so here I am. I am interested in helping this community gain some interest and get a nice fixup... Hopefully I can help out quite a bit... let's see what I can do... ;)

AZN OUT!!!

Why, welcome to XForgery. If you need any help, feel free to PM Null Parameter, or myself. Hope you have fun!

Thank you for the welcome... is it just you and Null Parameter, or are there any other admins. I would greatly like to help and I'm sure I can get quite a crowd over here, but I want to get familiar with everything first, so I'm around reading the forums and what not...

Again thanks for the welcome, I look forward to being part of this community (Forge Hub is much too crowded... lol)

First off, welcome! I think most people would at least know your name, and naturally associate it with forging greatness. ;) [/flattery]

As you probably noticed by now, I'm Null, Admin here at Forgery. You can ask me anything, because at the moment, I pretty much run the show. If you have any great new ideas to help Forgery out, I'm your guy.

I'm glad that you stopped over, and have the intention of helping out. We're actually in the middle of a major reorganization of Forgery, so we can get to a point where people will choose to come here over other sites. You can read the rather large discussion over here (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1093).

The biggest change being our forum restructuring, and there is another discussion/poll right here (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1127) that I wouldn't mind getting your opinion on. Some people have called the new Map Browser (discussed in that thread) to be revolutionary to how maps should be viewed, but as with everything, it can use improvements. So, check it out and get back to me.

Now, if you don't mind me asking...... Why Forgery? Why not come back to FH? (Not that I'm trying to push you away)

Well, I think that's it. Welcome back to Forging, and a huge welcome to Forgery.

First of all, that's quite the welcome and thank you very much for it.

Second of all, I like what's been done with the site so far and I'm about to head over to those threads to check out what you've got going on. I have a bunch of ideas that should definitely bring some attention to your site. And trust me... I'm good at attention... ask anyone.. lol

Now about FH... I've been back for about a month and a half now, hanging around there posting up alot of help like I used to. But none of the new guys listen to someone that doesn't have color on FH unless they know who you are... so alot of my help has gone unrecognized. I just hosted their TGIF last night, again. I've been suggested by EVERYONE that joined the room to go start up my own Forging site and they would surely follow due to the mass amount of noobs from BNET on FH. However I don't have the time to run a full site just yet (I work in the Air Force as a computer programmer and am in the process of moving into an apartment soon). As a few of you know I was part of Forgery when it started and was asked to help moderate it by Sketch... well he got busy and so did I and things never really hit off the ground. So after coming back to forging I went to Forgery and found this...

So basically I want to start anew. Take what I've learned from helping at the FH site and bringing this up to par. FH has made alot of mistakes since it's upbringing. From a corrupt staff to setting community standards that aren't very... good, I guess... like the obsession with Foundry and Geo-merging. I want the community to be brought out of a slum and bring them back to what pre-DLC forging was about... the fun and memories, not the looks, the custom games and not the maps, and community before yourself...

So that's why I'm here... any questions? lol... I have alot of ideas, but like I said I'm gonna get into the community first...

I'm glad to see that you share the same ideas we have on how forging should be based on fun instead of how perfect you can make everything.
Well again, welcome to Forgery (especially to a fellow programmer ;))!

Hello and welcome to XF. I've seen you a few times on FH and I just wanted to wish you welcome, but it looks as if that has already been done. Anyways, welcome, and I hope to see you around sometime.

Yeah because of AZN I have finally found a forum that ForgeHub once was. If XForgery stays fun and keeps this fine little community you'll see here quite often.
