Here's the preview for my first Halo: Reach Forge map: Bouncy Water, a map in which I made the water bouncy using a simple Forge technique. It's a fairly simple map that plays fantastically with the famed gametype OVERBOARD! by Null Parameter and Nulls Wife.
If you would like to help test this map, simply state your Xbox Live gamertag in a post below and I'll add you to my friends list. Testing will be on Tuesday at 7:00 PM (Eastern Time).

The walls should definitely be way higher. You can get flying with all those explosions serious.

Zack is right, the walls are way to short for an overboard map, should be an easy fix though.
One more thing I must add, since regenerating grenades are no longer available to us, many people have been scattering grenades around overboard maps to ensure you never run out. Is this possible on a floor of 1-way shield doors? if not how do you plan to solve this...
Also, if you need help testing I would be more than happy to help.

You can always set the grenades to fixed right below the shield doors that way they don't affect movement and you can still grab them if you need them.

Even if you have a full hand of grenades they're completely permeable, you walk right through them. If I were you, I'd place random floating grenades all over the map, even in the air, under fixed. It'd look pretty cool too.

I did not know that. I thought they were the same as weapons that you run into them and can't pass through :/ That actually gives me more ideas for a puzzle map.

Yah this was my understanding as well...
If the grenades in fact are permeable even when set to 'fixed', placing them on the floor or in the air would not be an issue at all and would look pretty cool, however if they are solid objects this could create a really cool platform for a jump.
So many possibilities... I hope you really experiment with these ideas.

I've played the map many times before and no one's ever got out, but I will make the walls a little higher just in case.
And to answer the grenade question, from the times I've played the map running out of grenades hasn't been much of an issue, but I'll consider placing some on the map.

I wonder, if grenades are permeable to Spartans what about other scenery? I know if you launch a golf ball at a fixed weapon it bounces off, does the same happen with grenades or would it go through it?

Grenades react like weapons when they are fixed, they block you

Getting out or on the map doesnt really matter. It wont give you an advantage especially now that there are no regenerating grenades.
Also, you dont really need grenades on the map.

Hrm...I could've sworn otherwise, but I'll take your word for it. Sorry for the confusion :/

Yea, EVERY object blocks you when it's fixed, with the exception on spawning and objective items.
And about getting out of the map, I'm going to put death barriers on the top of the walls so people can't stand up there.
