Mafia in Forgesdale - Day Four

Sorry for posting late, busy week. New semester at school.

The townspeople find another friend dead. Null Parameter, best known for his pitchfork-wielding, would no longer be with them. The town is now closer than ever to defeat, and their Mafia-hunt needs to prove successful.



Rules:
1. Whatever the mod says goes. Don't be a pain in the arse.

2. All votes and unvotes must be in bold (ex unvote/vote:Sampson)

3. You may vote 'no lynch' to end the day without a lynch. This is probably only good on Day 1. Use your time to discuss

4. If for some reason I disappear or whatever, do NOT reveal any game material.

5. There is to be no discussing the game outside this thread unless your role states otherwise. In this game, it does not.

6. There is to be no editing of posts, and no posting words so small that they must be quoted to be read. You MAY (in these threads only) double post to avoid editting. But be careful in what you accidentally say.

7. A lynch needs a majority of the town's vote, once a lynch has been reached no unvotes will be counted.

8. You are not allowed to quote any PM's given by me, especially you're role. You cannot make up PMs to show people. You CAN tell people your roles, but they may not believe you, since you're allowed to tell people anything is your role.

9. Once you die, you may continue to post, but no giving away info! "Giving away" your partners before death IS allowed. But townies please note that this may be a trap to make you think your fellow townies. Or maybe they named the mafia to make you think they are your fellow townies. WHO KNOWS?!?

10. Spam is fine, changing votes often is fine. Do so much that is aggravates me may not be good for your health. Keep that in mind.

11. Be active. Everyone is required to post each game day lest they suffer consequences such as modkill or replacement. If you will be gone at any stage it would be best to let me know.

12. Days will start off with a 4 day deadline. Use it wisely.

13. Night will last either until I get all actions, or after 2 real-time days.

14. The scenes are mostly for fun, and no real clues will be left in them. So don't bother reading them if you don't feel like it.

15. If you don't like your role, TOO BAD!

16. Blue is the mod color. If your text is in blue, then change it to black or you will be warned, and then modkilled.

Pregame Scene

The small town of Forgesdale never had any problems. That is until the mafia moved in. The homocide rate was increased largely, and local businesses suffered through paying 'protection money.' With no witnesses left alive, the few remaining citizens attempt to sift out the Mafia among them.

Once again, it looks very scummy to not give reasons for voting. If it truly is random, say so. This late in the game, however, you need actual evidence.

If anyone's wondering, Mafia are usually referred to as "scum".

Guys, you have to get into some real discussion to find Mafia. Without a majority, you can't lynch anyone. A no lynch will keep town alive another round, but really that's even more scary. So at this point its kill or be killed.

So actually express your ideas and opinions. Don't worry about dying for your team to prove something. If you actually put yourself out there, then you're less suspicious.

Null has pointed out that overcompensating is a good sign of Mafia-ness. Looking at your posts, you have waaay overcompensated. This gives me more reason to vote for you than Target, as I am now more suspicious of your guilt than his.

Good observation. In a game I'm playing in on another forum, theres a guy who doesn't even post every page (and these are 25 post pages) and no one is suspicious of him. But theres also a guy who posts fairly commonly, and almost everyone is supsicious of him. It's about content. first guy has several paragraph-long posts full of good logic. The second guy uses what we call "fluff posts", basically meaningless posts to fill gaps
