Hey all,
Some of you have seen the map I'm working on (which I'm stoked for), but I'm having some difficulty getting the map set up for symmetrical and asymmetrical gametypes. The main difficulty of the whole thing is the fact that there are two objects that I want only to appear in symmetrical gameplay, as the map is laid out differently to accommodate that style of play. The long and short of it is that I set the two objects to "Symmetrical," and then enter into a round of slayer (FFA or Team), and the objects are not there. I've tried messing with this multiple times, and from what I can tell the "gametype specific" option does nothing to aid in this plight.
It appears as though the symmetry of Slayer has been switched, though why I do not know.
I have only tried to right this from the basic editing mode, and while I don't suspect it affects other gametypes, Reach is preventing me from simply loading another to test and see.
Has anyone else encountered this, or am I just not digging enough? Are the symmetry options completely flip-flopped, or do they just not work in Slayer? Am I losing my mind?
Is it already lost?
