Guys the ultimate in fail just happened today.
School got RAINED OUT. I'm not saying I'm not happy about it, but seriously, I live in Washington, it rains all day everyday. But apparently there are some serious floods and the river that runs through my town is like almost overflowing because its been raining for like a week straight and theres so much run off from Mt. Baker. but none of that is new!
Anyway I just thought that was kind of funny. I got to enjoy it by going to the dentist's and i still can't feel my faic

Last school year, a day of school was canceled due to icing. Remember, I live just north of Houston and the largest icicle was smaller than a pencil. But wait, there's more fail! The district didn't bother to inform anyone until after school hours. I woke up at 5:30 a.m. when I could have slept in.....
Though I do hear it rains a lot in Washington. The state does have the highest suicide rate, no?

My superintendent of the county's school that I go to is so paranoid that he calls school out for the smallest chance of snow. We have had three snow days and it didn't snow on any of those days. But other than that, a couple years ago, we were called out for heat. It was like 110 degrees.

I remember the last snow day we had here - it snowed a little under 100 inches in 2 weeks. They closed the schools for a whole week.

When I was in high school, school got canceled because of a gas leak across the street. It was on my birthday!

I feel for you. Well, I'm not in school anymore but my town got an evacuation order for the same storm.
I live down south in the good 'ol town of Woodland Washington with the Lewis river running strait through us.
We have 3 dams up the river that were full to breaking point so they had to let out water and there was a possibility that they would have had to block the sea wall as well. Well, they were able to let the water out slow enough not to cause too big a problem for them or us (minor flooding of low lying houses) and they didn't have to put the block in the wall either. If they did, woodland would be under about 5+ feet of water just like in '96.
So basically the evacuation order was for nothing. (most people ignored it anyway =P)

Yeah my parents had to help out some friends who got flooded. Apparently a lot of places got flooded though. I live up on a hill, so it's not where the water is thankfully

I'm not a fan. I'm an unbiased viewer. Unlike the referees of that game.

Did you hear how bad Chehailis (I know that is spelt wrong) and Centralia got it? I might go up there and help when the water drains a little more. Its BAD up there. Worse than the flood a year+ ago that they had.

I remember last year, someone made a bomb threat 3 days in a row. The second and third days we stayed outside for a couple hours. Then we got friday off because they didn't want to get another one :D

The Steeler's didn't win that game. There were a couple touchdowns that shouldn't of been :P seattle should of won ;)
