Recommended Party Size: 2-16 PlayersOverviewThis amazing minigame is named and designed after a first generation video game (http://www.bmigaming.com/pinballhistory.htm). The concept of the original game is to keep the ball out of the hole at the bottom and rack up the highest score. In this remake, your objective is to get the ball to the end of the court and score it in your opponents hole. Players stand in one of two different rooms with a brute shot and shoot at the ball to push it across the court. Once the ball falls into the hole, the scoring team can then go through the telephoner and capture the territory.
There are two different rooms that each player can choose between. There are teleporters above each window and one can jump up to get to the different rooms. Once the ball is halfway down the court it is easier to be in the second room because it is closer to the ball. Which ever room the player decides to be in during the game, the scoring team needs to go into the first room to get to the scoring teleporter.
A great feature about this map is how the teleporter becomes unblocked. As pictured below, when the balls falls through the hole at the end of the court it goes into a shoot where it builds enough speed to knock a block off of the teleporter.
Technicalities aside, each game is crazy and high speed. When the ball is hit with many shots at the same time it can unexpectedly fly across the court and each player needs to quickly rearrange where they need to aim their shots. Many laughs and entertainment come hand in hand with this minigame.
So if you haven’t already, go ahead and give another download to Pinball Machine (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9799) and the required gametype, Pinball (http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3fileid=114610325), and be sure to congratulate MetaWaddleDee (http://www.xforgery.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9799) on producing a fun and high speed gametype.
