It's been a long time since we've last had one of these threads (a year to be precise). Take a deep breath and relax, you're not seeing things. What you see in front of you is real, no pinching your arm is required. The long awaited return of XForgery's feature system is back. What better way to start this off than to feature an interesting take on an old game that doesn't have anymore honor rules, because seriously, who likes to play fair?
Darth Human's take on Cat n' Mouse is actually a pretty cool one that requires a "plasma mortar disabling mechanic" (yeah I made that up) for the wraith, and a glitch that keeps the wraiths coming when the mice are consumed by the big purple behemoths. Simply put, if you're a mouse, you have 10 seconds to jump into a ghost and survive as long as you possibly can. Jumping off your ghost will kill you, as well as getting splattered by a wraith. If you die, you become a cat. Last mouse standing gets 5 points for delaying their inevitable demise. In a way, it's like zombies, but with more purple, and you don't have to wait until the next round to play again (something other Cat n' Mouse gametypes are famous for).
So go ahead, give this mini game a whirl and have some fun.

Well, here we are again. I bet you didn't expect another Update this quickly! We're just full of surprises lately, and it is great to keep you guys guessing. Never knowing what is going to come next. In fact, there was a lot of that this past weekend, over April Fools Day especially....
Fooled You!
Quite a few of you took part in our April Fools Day festivities. From fake events to made up server moves and styles. The most obvious of these items is the annual Glitter thread. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this tradition, the whole thing was started a few years back when Qwitter was running rampant, and everybody thought it would be awesome to make additional Qwitter-esque threads, all with subtly different names.
All in all, it was a dumb trend that died out. But that didn't stop Timothy from resurrecting it with an amazing twist.... Spam all you want to, but for each post you will be banned for an hour. The first Glitter was a fun twist on regular operations at XF and showed off our fun and easy going personality. Not to mention that Timothy got to flex his Corruption muscles by banning tons of people.
The first Glitter thread yielded nearly 200 hours in bans. Then a few months later, Timothy brought back the awesomeness of Glitter for April Fools Day and was able to give out 523 hours of ban time (including a few hours to himself). The record for most ban time was MNM1245 with nearly 250 hours in bans. Dear god...... Can you stand to be away from XF for well over a week?
Well, the answer to that question was answered as "yes" by several people this year when the 500+ hours of bans from the last Glitter was shattered, crippled and left for dead after being beaten by over 2,500 hours in bans in Glitter this past weekend. Yes, you read that correctly, two thousand five hundred HOURS of bans; that equates to over 100 days of people not viewing XF. A large majority of the bans went to Iron,... [Read More]
